Fluid Ads
Working with Fluid Ads was a great experience, allowing me to apply my design and product knowledge throughout the business. From running ‘Company Value’ workshops where the team collaborated and formed the cornerstones of the company culture, to the visual identity of the business that went on to generate a solid design culture bedrock.
The products themselves also took a steer from the new branding with an updated UI and much improved UX. The dynamic HTML5 Ad Builder, allows users to quickly generate multiple ads across multiple platforms (including Social platforms) and target, monitor and report the outcomes.
Whilst at Fluid Ads, I worked closely with the customer support team and often spoke with customers to understand their frustrations and pain points. With this information, I was able to communicate back to the engineering team directly and ensure the fixes were released in the forthcoming sprint thus rebuilding the customer trust.

More than a homepage
The look & feel of the website took its direction from the shapes that form the identity. The purpose of the site was to not only generate leads but to showcase the powerful features of the product.

The Power of the Platform
The Ad Builder allows users to craft dynamic ads with an array of tools, similar to those within a design tool. The user could then upload data to target an audience using retargeting or geo-fencing.

Not just a builder
To create the ads is one thing, to then build in the tools to complete the solution was the next challenge. Features such as ‘Dynamic Ads’ that, for example, only display umbrellas when it rains or ‘Geo-Fencing’ that targets car-buyers when they’re within a certain radius of a car showroom, these features closed the loop on the end-to-end advert experience.

Keep it simple
Description goes hereThroughout the design of the product and marketing assets, the theme was always keep it lean and clean. A pricing matrix can sometimes seem daunting, busy and exhausting to digest, therefore we keep price points simple but still allowing users to deep-dive if need be.

Simple to build
Building an ad campaign sounds complicated but within a few simple steps, the structure can be built. Users could be from scratch or from one of our templates.

Dynamic Ads
We developed a unique ‘SuperTags’ system that allowed users to map out a campaign in a user-friendly tree structure.

All ads, all sizes
Ads could be created at speed from a single template. This dramatically reduced the workload of the designer having to typeset each ad individually.

Familiar screen furniture
The canvas and surrounding toolbars were specifically designed to maximise screen estate. The toolbars included all of the common design tools to craft an ad.

Build big, build fast
Drag and dropping shapes, text and images onto the canvas and crafting these elements into an advert couldn’t be easier. Once an ad was created, the user simply chose the other shapes they required; Facebook, Instagram or standard web ads and got them ready to target the audience.
